Join us with Knepp Wildland Foundation at this annual community festival celebrating nature along the Adur River with a focus on the return of the white storks from their migratory journey abroad. This free family friendly event includes live music, talks and food stalls. We will be there to talk about how people and their dogs can help support the river’s fragile habitats and inviting dog owners to pledge their dogs to become Adur SSSI Ambassadors.

Join us for a Solstice celebration walk to Cuckoo Corner and bring a light picnic. We will see who shows up along the way, sharing the story of the Adur SSSI as we go. At Cuckoo Corner we will stop for a picnic and a joyful celebration of the energy of this special day - also known as Litha.

A FoASSSI talk as part of the 'Capturing Old Shoreham’ exhibition at the Marlipins Museum which runs from 14 May to 25 July.
The exhibition aims to create a 21st century portrait of Old Shoreham. It includes a Soundscape of the area, a new Village Map that builds on the current virtual Heritage trail, a Nature Map of habitats and green spaces and a new stitched Community Banner.
We will present the past, present and future of the protected Site of Special Scientific Interest.
