We exist to engage the community with the Adur SSSI

We are a group of people who care about the Adur SSSI and want it to be the best it can be, for wildlife and for humans. We represent the community of users of the Adur River between Cuckoo Corner and the footbridge in the centre of Shoreham: the area which forms the Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Our vision is to engage the community with the Adur SSSI and ensure everyone is informed of the importance of this saltmarsh habitat as a haven for wildlife - particularly birds - to rest and feed.  Above all, we aim to encourage humans to enjoy the SSSI responsibly and contribute to efforts to restore its health for future generations of all life.
